CATARIA

CATaria, DJ and producer born in Bogotá, Colombia, began her career in 2018 at DJ Academy. Currently based in Vancouver, Canada, her journey in the music scene bridges elements of the old and new schools, endowing her with exceptional technical skills and captivating musical curation that surprises on the dance floor. Her sets are versatile, hypnotic, and euphoric, immersing the audience in a trance and engaging them from start to finish. CATaria has the unique ability to read the crowd and guide them to the desired state through her mixes. 

CATaria expertly navigates two musical lines, house and Techno. In Techno, she incorporates elements of Acid, Raw, Hard, Detroit techno, and Hardgroove. Her versatility impacts every set, experimenting with sounds derived from house, techno, and trance. Her purpose extends beyond mixing music; she aims to create energetic dance atmospheres, as well as comfort, joy, and connection among people, believing in the power of music to unite and transform. 

Currently working on her first musical productions, CATaria's career in Colombia included playing at some of Bogotá's most iconic clubs, such as Baum, Octava Club, and Radio Berlin, and participating in festivals like Cometas y Techno. Now in Vancouver, her surprising and rapid rise in the underground scene has turned heads, quickly marking her distinctive style. She has secured a residency with Vantek and performed at clubs like Gorgomish and Soma. With a promising future ahead on this continent, CATaria continues to evolve and inspire through her music.
